Here is my offensive post for the week. C'mon, what would be a week without Romeo offending people? Please.
You can live your life relying on others to raise animals to be slaughtered. But. Think about that word. "Slaughtered". Sounds a little psycho-killer.
You can eat the end result of said slaughter. But ask yourself why? Decomposing flesh? Really? How is that tasty?
